Commercially, it is also employed to dissolve caoutchouc, gutta-percha, wax, camphor, etc. It is very inflammable and all insurance requirements concerning it should be carefully complied with. The title "Benzine" should not be confused with "Benzene," more correctly called Benzol, a very different article, obtained from coal tar.
