BRAZIL NUTS, Cream Nuts, Para Nuts

the fruit of a large tree, native to Brazil and Guiana. The nuts are brown and wrinkled in appearance, triangular in shape, with hard shells and white kernels of very agreeable taste. They grow encased and packed in round seed-vessels, varying in size from that of a cocoanut to some as large as a man's head and so hard that a sledge hammer is required to break them.
