commonly called the Bacon Beetle. The larva of this insect is very destructive to bacon and other dried meats and often to cheese. It is a worm about 3/8-inch in length, tapering towards the tail, dark-brown above, white beneath, with long hairs and two horny hooks on the end of its body.
