Fish Fries

Like the original clam bake, first you catch your fish, then fry him and eat in crowds, along a river bank or on a sandy beach, doing the fry either in deep fat or in a skillet. Deep fat frying needs a heavy iron kettle and plenty of smoking fat, together with batter to dip your fish in, but pan fish fries need only the pan and a hunk of bacon.
