A Batter Pudding Without Eggs

838. One pint of milk. Mix three spoonsful of flour with a little of the milk first, half a teaspoonful of salt, one teaspoonful of powdered ginger, and one teaspoonful of tincture of saffron. Mix all together and boil an hour-fruit may be added.
