For twenty-five yards goods, boil two and a half hours with ten pounds of alum, two pounds of argol, and one-fourth of a quart nitrate of tin; wash well, and finish with seven and a half pounds logwood and one pound of peach wood in a elean vessel. Put in cool in finishing, and heat to boiling point.
