Emily Rose Burt's Entertaining Made Easy (Edward J. Clode, 1919) is a book of party plans: socials, outdoor affairs, birthdays, showers and holiday evenings, each worked out to the last streamer.

The plans are period pieces — a Mock Canteen the year after the Armistice, a Hawaiian porch luncheon, a Progressive Motor Party — and every one comes with its invitations, decorations, games and menu.
