Alice Bradley ran the Miss Farmer's School of Cookery in Boston after Fannie Farmer's death and was cooking editor of the Woman's Home Companion. This little book collects ten menus for luncheon and supper parties.

Its organising idea is the menu, not the recipe. Each of the ten is a complete meal designed to go together and to be got ready in a particular order, and the recipes exist to serve it.

A note on this edition: the professionally keyed text we hold dropped the book's menu headings and introduction, leaving only the recipes. The menus have been restored by reading the original page scans.
