Dream Cakes

Cut rounds or fancy shapes of crustless bread. Spread first with a thin layer of American cheese, then with mayonnaise; or if preferred it may be dusted with cayenne pepper, and then put on bread; cover and fry in butter in chafing-dish.- Mrs S. F. Snow.
