Potatoes Baked with Meat

Wash and pare potatoes of uniform size, and one hour before the meat is done put the potatoes into the bakingpan, around it. Baste them with the dripping every time you baste the meat. Turn them once or twice. Potatoes cooked in this way are palatable but rather difficult to digest.
