Caviar Canape

On round of toasted rye or whole wheat bread, buttered, place rings of hard cooked eggs. Cover center with caviar and then cover caviar with a slice of freshly peeled cucumber. Dress with French salad dressing when ready to serve.

For the Modern Kitchen

An assembly job rather than a cooked dish, so the only real work is in the components and the timing. Everything can be prepared ahead except the final dressing.
