Delicious Honey Frosting

2 1/4 cups powdered sugar 2 egg whites 1/4 cup honey 2 tablespoons lemon juice Sift the powdered sugar. Beat whites of eggs to a stiff froth, add sugar slowly, beating all the time. When it begins to get thick, add a little honey, then sugar, then lemon juice and so on until well mixed. It takes about fifteen minutes to make this frosting.

For the Modern Kitchen Do not make this as written.

This is an uncooked meringue-style frosting: the egg whites are beaten with sugar, honey and lemon juice and never heated at any stage.
