Other Chowders
Almost any sort of sea food can be substituted for clams or fish in the above recipes: crab meat, scallops, oysters, lobster, or any of these in combination. Also, vegetable chowders may be concocted by substituting green corn, lima beans, or a mixture of vegetables in place of sea food, always remembering to leave out milk if tomatoes are included.
