Add Years to Linoleum

The life of linoleum is greatly lengthened if it is varnished just as soon as it is placed on the floor. This is particularly true of printed linoleum. It is well to varnish it once each year or as soon as the varnish appears to be wearing off. Before applying the varnish, the linoleum should be washed well with soap and water and thoroughly dried. A second coat should not be applied until the first is dry. Inlaid linoleum may be treated the same way. Mrs. M. B., Long Beach, Calif.
