Mildew Stains
Remove fresh mildew with cold water. For old stains on white cotton or linen, use potassium permanganate alternated with oxalic acid; where the entire article is covered with mildew, soak in solution of one cup Javelle Water to one quart of water, leaving no longer than twenty minutes, and wash out.
