I have found a very easy as well as satisfactory way of sewing silk-binding braid on dresses. I fold the braid almost in the center, then press with an iron, folding and pressing at the same time, then I baste the folded braid over the edge I wish to bind. It is possible to stitch both sides at the same time.-B. O. McF., Tiffin, Ohio.
