Save Trouble Covering Your Ironing-Board

I have found it very useful to pad both sides of my ironingboard. I make a bag of the cover, which fits the board closely and then fasten it with a few tacks at the wide end. These few tacks keep the cover in place perfectly. If the board is covered in this way both sides can be used and recovering will be necessary only half as many times as when the old system is used. If desired, one side can be padded more thickly than the other, using the thick side for articles that are embroidered or on which there is a pattern.- Mrs. F. E. S., Randolph, Va.
