Stearate of Zinc powder can be purchased in a tin can with a shaker and is useful for skin irritations, chafing, sunburn, etc. It is a wise plan to have a half-ounce of liquid Collodion or liquid court-plaster for slight cuts and abrasions. A tube of Petroleum Jelly and a tube of Zinc-Oxide ointment complete the articles recommended for the bottom shelf.
