Scald one quart of milk with one sheet of isinglass (broken), and a vanilla bean; when cool, strain, mix with one pint of cream whipped to a froth; sweeten to taste and freeze, "DAL," AN INDIAN LENTIL, Botanical Name "ERVUM LENS."
