Strawberry Ice Cream

Press through a sieve into a bowl half pint preserved strawberries. Have a vanilla ice-cream preparation and when removing it from the fire add the strawberry puree (strained); mix well with a wooden spoon; then strain through a sieve into the freezer and proceed to freeze the same as for vanilla.
