POULTICE OF YEAST

Mix 5 ounces of yeast with an equal quantity of water, at 100°; with these stir 1 pound of flour, so as to make a poultice; place it by the fire till it swells, and use. Stimulant, emollient. Used in indolent abscesses and sores.
