Clear Soup, with Poached Eggs

Poach an egg carefully and lightly, trim the edges neatly. Place it in a hot soup plate, and pour a breakfast-cupful of clear soup gently over it. A little chopped parsley or chervil may be sprinkled in at the last moment. An excellent invalid dish. Probable cost, 4d.
