Eggs, Genoa

Lay some slices of cheese on a well-buttered baking-tin, sprinkle a little pepper and salt over, break in four eggs, cover with bread-crumbs, add one ounce of oiled butter, and bake in a hot oven for twelve to fifteen minutes. Sprinkle a little minced parsley over, and serve very hot. Probable cost, 9d.
