Grape Timbale

Put 1 cupful of grape pulp and skins through sieve; add 1/3 cupful fine bread crumbs; 2 eggs, 1 extra yolk, well beaten; 1/2 teaspoonful each salt, cloves, and cinnamon; 1/4 teaspoonful black pepper; 1/2 cupful grape juice. Steam in buttered mould.

For the Modern Kitchen

A small steamed grape custard, spiced more like a mincemeat than a dessert. The original gives no mould size, no steaming time and no serving note, so the numbers below fill the gaps.
