Ginger Cup Cake

3 eggs. 1 cupful molasses. 1 cupful sugar. 1 cupful butter (half lard will answer). 1/2 teaspoonful soda, dissolved in 1 tablespoonful buttermilk. 1 tablespoonful ground ginger. 2 1/2 cupfuls flour. Mix as other cake. Some like allspice.--Mrs. H.D.
