Banana Puffs

1 cup sugar 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 3 well beaten eggs 1/4 cup milk Beat together well and stir into the batter 3 thinly sliced bananas. Half fill buttered custard cups and steam or bake 1 hour. Serve with cream, or with lemon sauce.

For the Modern Kitchen

A plain steamed pudding batter with sliced banana folded through, baked or steamed in individual cups. The batter carries no fat at all, so the cups must be buttered generously and the bananas are doing most of the work for moisture.
