Fondant Logs

Roll fondant into small cork shaped pieces, make very smooth and evenly shaped. Dip in melted chocolate, and before the chocolate is thoroughly set, drop into chopped walnuts. The logs should be well covered with nuts.

For the Modern Kitchen

A dipped confection that assumes you already have a batch of fondant on the counter — the book expects the cook to know the basic boiled sugar paste. Everything here depends on the state of the chocolate at the moment the nuts go on.
