One-Egg Chocolate Cake

1 cup butter. 1 cup sugar. 1 egg. 2 level teaspoons cinnamon. 1 level teaspoon each cloves and allspice. 1/4 nutmeg grated. 1 cup sweet milk. 3 tablespoons cocoa or grated chocolate. 2 cups flour. 1/2 teaspoon soda. 1 teaspoon cream tartar. Bake in sheet; cover with icing.
