Nevada Baked Steak

A porterhouse steak cut 2 inches thick. Rub garlic on both sides. Then make a sauce with: 4 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL 4 TABLESPOONS TOMATO CATSUP 2 TABLESPOONS WORCESTERSHIRE Pour sauce over steak, let stand 2-3 hours. Before putting in oven cover with thin slices of lemon and sprinkle with paprika. Bake 1/2 hour, then cover with 1 can mushrooms, and bake another 1/2 hour.

For the Modern Kitchen

A straightforward marinated steak, but the original leaves out both the oven temperature and any doneness cue, so those are the two things to settle before you start.
