Molasses Candy

Two cups brown sugar, 1/2 cup molasses, 2/3 cup vinegar and water mixed, butter 1/2 size of egg. When candy hardens in cold water, pour into shallow buttered pans and as soon as it is cool, pull until of a straw-like color.
