Save Buying Porch-Lamps
At a country auction I bought an apparently worthless old surrey for twenty-five cents. It had a pair of carriage lamps on it, rusty but otherwise good. These I rubbed down, painted black, had wired for electricity and had installed on each side of the entrance door. They look exactly like a pair I saw in a window marked fifty dollars. -Mrs. H., New Rochelle, N. Y.
