Save Cleaning Pillows

Cover your bed-pillows with a close-fitting white cotton cover. Baste at the end. The pillow-slips will look much whiter than is possible if the colored pillow-ticking shows through, making it look yellow or streaked. The white cotton cover is much simpler to wash than is the pillow itself to clean, and the slip makes the cleaning of the pillow itself unnecessary. -Mrs. C. W., Reedsburg, Wis.
