Custard, Baked

Take the same ingredients as for boiled custard. Scald the milk, and pour over the beaten eggs, sugar and salt, pour into a pudding dish or individual dishes and bake very slowly in a second pan with water in it until firm. Quick cooking ruins this pudding.
