Peel twelve medium, ripe, sweet, fresh peaches. Cut off from the stones in quarter-inch slices, place in a bowl, add a tablespoon powdered sugar and two tablespoons maraschino. Mix well together, then proceed to make exactly the same as strawberry shortcake.
