Sweet Milk Griddle Cakes

1 tablespoon sugar 2 eggs 1½ cups to 2 cups milk 2 tablespoons melted fat 3 teaspoons baking powder Combine all dry materials and sift. Beat eggs, milk and melted fat together. Add sifted dry materials and beat thoroughly. Place batter in a pitcher. Pour on a hot, greased griddle.
