Brown Bread (Three cupfuls of cornmeal two)

Three cupfuls of cornmeal, two cupfuls brown flour, one cupful molasses, little salt, one teaspoonful saleratus (or soda), three and one-half cupfuls of warm water. Steam two and one-half hours.
