Fried Cabbage and Bacon

Take whatever pieces of cabbage are left over from a boiled dinner and chop them. Fry slices of bacon, and when done, lay them on a plate before the fire and put the chopped cabbage in the frying pan and cook until well mixed with the bacon fat. Serve hot with the bacon slices on top.
