Lady Fingers

Beat the yolks of four eggs with one-quarter pound of powdered sugar, when well beaten sift in one-quarter pound flour and the well beaten whites. Drop on buttered paper, the shape and size desired. Bake quickly. While hot, press two of the cakes together on their flat sides.
