Maple Cream Candy

Three cupfuls of grated maple sugar, one cupful of thick sweet cream; boil until it hardens when dropped in cold water. Remove from the fire and beat with a silver fork until it has the consistency of very thick cream. Pour into buttered tins and when cold, cut into squares.
