INFUSION OF HORSERADISH (COMPOUND)

Macerate 1 ounce of horseradish, sliced, and 1 ounce of bruised mustard-seed in 1 pint of boiling water 2 hours, in a covered vessel, and strain. Then add a fluid ounce of the compound spirit of horseradish. The same as the root. Dose: 1 to 3 ounces, 3 or 4 times a day.
