INFUSION OF GENTIAN (COMPOUND)

Macerate 2 drachms of sliced gentian, 2 drachms of dried orange-peel, 4 drachms of lemon-peel, in 1 pint of boiling water, for 1 hour, in a covered vessel, and strain. Stomachic and tonic. Used in dyspepsia and general debility. Dose: 1/2 to 2 ounces, 2 or 3 times a day.
