Coffee Bread

To one cup of light bread sponge add one cup of sugar, one egg, one cup of lukewarm milk, butter size of an egg (melted); add flour to make a stiff batter; let rise until light. Add one-half teaspoon salt, knead in enough flour to stiffen, roll out until about an inch and a half thick, put into a square pie-tin and let rise. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in moderate oven.
