Tomato Soup

One quart can of tomatoes; two heaping tablespoons of flour, one of butter, one teaspoon of salt, one of sugar, a pint of hot water. Let the tomatoes and water come to a boil; rub flour, butter and tablespoon of tomato together, stir into the boiling mixture, add seasoning and boil all together fifteen minutes; rub through a sieve and serve with bread dice.
