2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup shortening 2 teaspoons vanilla 1½ teaspoon salt Flour to roll out 1 teaspoon Royal baking powder Mix sugar, yolks of eggs well beaten and shortening, melted. Add part of flour, mixed and sifted with baking powder and salt, whites of eggs beaten stiff, vanilla and flour to roll out. Roll very thin, shape with small cutter and bake.
