1½ cups brown sugar ½ cup butter 3 eggs (well beaten) ½ cup sour milk 2 cups chopped raisins ½ cup peel (orange or lemon) nutmeg 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon soda Five Roses flour to mix stiff Bake in slow oven.
