Scalloped Mushrooms

Wash, scrub, and peel one pound of fresh mushrooms.

Sauté in butter. Arrange in layers with White Sauce in buttered baking dish; when filled cover with cubes of bread which have been dipped in butter. Brown in the oven and serve.
