It is at all times useful to know that- A wine glass holds 2 ounces.

A teaspoon, ⅛ ounce, or dram. A tablespoon, ½ ounce. Also that a teacupful of sugar weighs ½ lb. A dessert spoon, ¼ ounce. And 3 tablespoonfuls of sugar, ¼ lb.
