Nine ripe tomatoes, peeled and cut small, red peppers and one onion chopped fine, one teacup vinegar, two tablespoons brown sugar, one tablespoon salt, one teaspoon ginger, one of cloves, one of allspice, vinegar in last : stew one hour.
