French Artichokes

A delicacy of unusual merit is put in the very best style by southern packers. The "choke" having been removed, the crowns of the artichoke are placed in the cans and can be conveniently served with drawn butter or sauces or stewed with meats. A cream of artichoke soup is a dainty easily obtained, if one has a can of artichokes at hand.
