Cream Filling for Cake

Seven-eighth cup of sugar, one-half cup of flour, pinch of salt, two eggs, two cups of scalded milk. Mix dry ingredients, add eggs slightly beaten, and pour on gradually the scalded milk. Cook fifteen minutes in double boiler, stirring constantly until thickened. Cool and flavor.
